Tulip Siddiq MP

MP for Hampstead and Kilburn

Tulip Siddiq MP
Tulip Siddiq MP

I am proud to be the Labour MP for my home seat of Hampstead and Kilburn, having been elected in 2015 and re-elected in 2017 and 2019.

My parents were married in Kilburn some forty years ago, I went to school here, and I have spent my weekends campaigning here since I was 16. I now live in a flat in West Hampstead, with my husband Chris, daughter Azalea and son Raphael.

My politics are based on my experience of life in our area. I was previously a local councillor and Cabinet Member on Camden Council, with responsibility for our much loved community centres.

Since my first election in 2015, I have run campaigns that prioritise the interests of local people. From my stance against Brexit and HS2, to demanding better funding for local schools and health services – I am proud to have been a truly local representative.

This background lies at the heart of my determination to defend our local interests in Parliament.
